Fluoro-Seal sell treated bottles?

A. No.
Fluoro-Seal only treats containers sent to us. A partial
list of the blow molders and distributors that regularly
send bottles to us are listed on our links page.
If you can't find the containers you need, we can help
you find the suppliers in your area.

A. No.
Fluorination of plastic for enhanced solvent barrier
properties has been known since the mid 1950's when
patents were first issued. Being one of the first companies
worldwide to offer this service in 1983, Fluoro-Seal
has been instrumental to the commercial acceptance
of fluorination through our commitment to engineering
excellence, quality, and customer satisfaction. Fluoro-Seal
has a long track record of using our technology in
a safe, effective and environmentally safe manner.
We
are constantly finding new applications for
our proven technology.
A. The FSI
corporate office and customer solutions center is located
in Houston Texas.
Treatment
facilities are located near major industrial centers
across the country, namely, Allentown
PA, Atlanta GA, Buffalo
NY, Chicago IL, Columbus
OH, Kansas City
MO, Houston TX, St.
Louis MO, Mt
Pleasant IA, and Yuma AZ.
By operating numerous regional treatment facilities,
Fluoro-Seal serves the container and tankage industry
safely and efficiently while minimizing shipping
expense.
Fluoro-Seal
operates two in-house plants in the U.S. for large
volume customers to reduce shipping and handling costs.
Please check with us if you feel your volumes warrant
consideration of an in-house plant.
There
are also several international
licensees who practice our proprietary fluorination
process around the globe.

all Fluoro-Seal plants ISO-9001: 2000 certified? |
A. All
Fluoro-Seal plants have been ISO-9001:2000 certified
since 1994.

prices the same in all parts of the country? |
A. Fluoro-Seal
prices all domestic business according to a uniform
pricing schedule regardless of location within the
US. To choose your treatment facility you would factor
in your shipping costs and convenience. We
would be pleased to quote special pricing for in-house
facilities.

if I have special requirements? |
A. The
Fluoro-Seal Process is designed to suit the requirements
of each product to be fluorinated. If you have special
requirements, we will be happy to work with you to
design a Customer Specific Quality Plan (CSQP) to meet
your needs.)

A. Fluoro-Seal operates
ten
treatment facilities dispersed
around the US to serve major container and packaging
centers. Several international
licensees also practice
our proprietary fluorination process around the globe.
Within the US, we also operate several in-house treatment
facilities at our large volume customers allowing them
to reduce shipping and handling costs. Please check with
Fluoro-Seal if you feel your volumes warrant consideration
of in-house operations.

long will the treatment last? |
A. The surface modification processes for both barrier
and adhesion involve permanent molecular bonding on the
exposed surfaces of the polyolefin substrate.
